snap it {cold}

It's a sun-shiny-Sydney-blue sky day, a very cold day too, but with not a touch of frost in sight what do I snap? It's also the second day of the school holidays but I find myself back in my classroom. Why? Well there's always something to do isn't there? But as I glance UP (whilst putting paperwork dating back to 2008 into the 'round file') I spy the beautiful mobile of wooden peg snowflakes that my class made at the end of last term and suddenly the cold shimmers and sparkles from above!

  1. yes it is a bit tricky when the sky is so beautifully blue, love your snowflake though, very symbolic of cold!

    1. It's funny how I had to fabricate snow and you have the real thing!

  3. Just lovely, I had to look for ages at this image to work it out, but still I could not. So glad you provided the explanation. Very creative Mrs P. I think KJ would like to make some of these dazzlers. Beautiful interpretation of the prompt.

    1. I think KJ might need some'big' helpers. Even my 5/6's struggled with gluing and got very frustrated... but we were all happy with how they turned out! :)

  5. Hi Arpi. I've just stopped by after visiting Ally's blog again and just wanted to say hi and how cool it is that you are on the photo finish show. I love sitting and watching how the photographers react to the different situations they are given to work in and the photos that they create. I hope you had lots of fun and I'll look forward to watching tomorrow night.

    Love your take on cold, what a clever idea. I hope you get to enjoy the rest of your holidays.

    1. Hi Catherine, yes I'm looking forward to the show tonight although it makes feel feel sick watching it every week... only because I know I'm still to come! I wonder if they'll do another season, I know there's a lot of interest out there but I think they need to move away from the reality/game show format a bit and put in some more 'how to' and instructional elements. But it was great fun to be involved!
